Hardware Enablement: 410 Laptops, One Refugee-Led Platform

Back to homepage

PeaceMakers NGO provided critical First Aid Hardware Support: 410 refurbished laptops sourced from local Yaoundé vendors at zero cost. These devices enabled EduSphere GCE — BlingsEdu Collective (UNHCR ID 15870) to deploy their secure cloud-based school management system for academic record preservation in conflict zones. Teachers in makeshift church classrooms used these laptops to input student data into blingsedu.com within days, preventing generational loss of academic records. Students accessed edu.blingsedu.com offline for GCE exam prep despite displacement. This support validated a zero-cost local refurbishment pipeline now being scaled to serve 527 remaining verified schools.
